themookid Woo hoo! I was initially disapointed not to get under 19, but 19:01 is a PB after all. I Felt confident tonight and was sure I would be very close to 19. Went out quick over first 1k as usual (03:27 if the marker was right!?) and made a strong effort to keep it up over the 2nd (03:56 those markers are definatly out!). I managed to keep it on target right through to 4k at 15:12 and knew it was going to be really close but the legs were going by now and lungs burning up. Over the line in 19:01 turning the air blue! 5 minutes later reminded myself of the PB and having found 20 seconds since last race 3 weeks ago :) Sub 19 5k will come next time but sub 40 10k feels a long way off at the moment!
