Delboy This has to be one of the toughest races I have ever done. The combination of hills, mud, puddles & slippery chalk paths proved to be a major challenge to my resolve but I was determined not to drop out. Two days after the event I can now say that I am pleased to have completed it. Winchester & District AC 1:35:24 1:35:24 1:52:41 59.21
SuperSooks Very hard race - the hill up to the back of Farley Mount is a killer! The route was muddy and slippery and some of those puddles were deeper than they looked! Finished 2nd lady, so pleased with result though I had hoped to be a bit quicker. Excellent organisation and great t-shirt. Winchester & District AC 1:25:26 1:25:26 1:39:42 64.74
Marmite Bad race- very slippery between 5-7 miles which lost me a lot of time, up to 5 miles on course for a reasonable time. Halterworth Harriers 2:43:46 3:25:37 3:25:37 33.64
TZ My official race time was 1:50:01, but there is a story behind that... The half-marathon started exactly 13.1 miles into the marathon course, exactly 90mins after the start of the Clarendon Marathon. I ran the marathon course from mile 6 onwards, pacing with Michaela.... so, I arrived at the HM start having already run 7 miles, and a full 10 minutes after the start of the HM! So, my 100 Marathon Club, Winchester & District AC 1:17:03 1:19:13 1:50:01 53.17

dred Absolute nightmare, had a dodgy stomach from the day before had to dose up with immodium, arrived late just as the race started had no time too warm up,
And then endured the worst course i have ever come across 13 miles of slippery mud & puddles, I fell over once & never felt comfortable, And was never able to get a rhythm going.
So overall i am very happy with a time of approx' 2.02 Unaffiliated 1:49:13 1:49:13 2:00:00 2:02:05 50.58
