About this parkrun
Out n back on an old railway line , slightly upwards drag on the way out & therefore a lovely downhill return . A slight sting in the tail when you have to run past the finish for another short out n back for the last quarter milewAckie Racer 22nd Jan 2022
Such a lovely route. Start on grass, then onto the trail, slightly uphill then turn around and slightly downhill then a cheeky out and back past the finish. Really well organised and a friendly event. I reckon it could be a fast one, if you're fast!

The two reviews sum it up perfectly. Friendly, parking (although walking distance if you are staying in Whitby) and toilets. There is a cafe but it is cash only.

As the field was still boggy it was the alternative course today so all on the cinder track. 2km slightly uphill then nice 2km back down followed by another 500m or so past the finish, turn round and back up. Lovely and friendly 😊
