Hills of Death (HOD) Achieved objective basically did the distance nice comfortable pace 9 ish. Started easy with BBLB then pushed on to find Slug Would be Faster (another Fetchie !) we stayed until 18 he pushed on to get under the 3 I think. Briefly see SusieB on the turnaround she seemed to be running well. A few hills nice challenging course beside the seaside :) Big shout out to Pit Stop Crew for being Barnet & District AC, Riverside Runners 2:43:53 2:53:50 3:03:36 50.10

SK aka Clive Was absolutely dreading this one, heard so many horror stories. Actually wasn't so bad, got to 11 miles and started to worry about whether I was gonna do it , but in fact was ok and managed to try a sprint finish ( I was sprinting in my world!). Treacle Ouch! Lots of nasty little hills to really mash the legs, especially having done hilly Tunbridge Wells half the week before - could still feel that one! But lovely marshals, weather held off till the end, great atmosphere and lovely friendly other runners made a great race. Wabo did 3.16 last year with less training than this year but who knows? Got a pb, but my goodness I feel as though I have run a marathon today!
