eL Bee! On pace support duty. Don't bet on me!

**UPDATE**
Ran with Velociraptor.
Plan was for aiming for 7:20's and see how we went.
First 4 miles were spot on, and V was running easily. Then the slightly updulating nature, as well as being into the breeze, of the first half started to tell. Interestingly it wasn't the legs that were the issue, but the engine. V has a plan to work on her base fitness and endurance, and she's shown that when she can support the speed that she has, she'll be blatting her PB's
My legs clearly hadn't run regularly for about 6 weeks. Achilles was fine - took about 5 miles to warm up properly, but otherwise was pretty pleased with how it went.
Tempo run for me - but well within myself

Hanneke Not sure if I can do this yet, will be my first race since the Amsterdam marathon, 15 October 2006... WIBBLE!
*update* getting surer I can do it, but will treat it as a run, not race and possibly pace someone to a 1.59.59 pb, so DO NOT BET ON ME!
Can't believe this: ran it easy in 1.55.15, which I believe is even a PB! Felt easy throughout, NO NIGGLES! Yippeeeh! FELL PONIES, Black Mountains MBO 1:45:08 1:45:08 2:00:00 1:55:14 58.19

Highland Lad Felt good for the first eight miles, then started to go down hill, not literally unfortunately! Last couple of miles were hard and felt like walking but managed to keep the legs going. Got a PB but missed my target. Unaffiliated 1:35:06 1:46:39 1:45:00 1:46:39 55.02
Leg End A really good one. I had half-hoped for an age-graded PB though I didn't really think it was on, but I made it with several seconds to spare. A good steady pace on a flattish course and and, as I like, I ran the second half slightly faster than first. Pickled tink!.... Sandhurst Joggers 1:46:11 1:46:11 1:49:59 1:46:11 67.83

Littlesiany Well quite a bit faster than the Llanelli half. I really enjoyed this even though the rain came down in the last mile. Best time so far, roll on Cardiff Half in October! Cwm Ogwr Running Club 2:15:00 2:21:00 2:28:00 2:21:00 48.16

Mattw4de Wasn't expecting much out of today after ITBS through April but today was Bang on! thought i was going to have to stop before second water station when my knee started to jam & pain set in. Felt good after running with the knee pain - finally went at 6mile mark.
Couldn't count the mile markers to do splits which was a good thing for me as it left more concentration,
Traffic a bit inconsiderate at time. especially coming back into Tewkesbury, That staggered gate got me again after mile 11.
Finished & done just in time before the heavens opened.....

Velociraptor I shall be chasing a very small PB but would prefer than nobody bet on me because there's a fair chance I won't be in half-marathon PB form, and the weather forecast suggests that I'll have to fight the weather.
UPDATE
I'm SO glad you all took note and didn't bet on me because I'd have lost you more points! I was aiming at 1.36, which I knew was just at the bottom end of Cumberland AC 1:37:44 1:37:44 1:39:17 69.43
Wilbur Not convinced this is on, since my 'training' was aiming at a HM in early July rather than mid May, but hopefully I'm 6 weeks better off than Reading & I've put 100 on me just in case others feel similarly inclined (so if I fail I suffer the same fate as others). UPDATE - will be bowling 12 overs the day before and (hopefully) batting for 30 odd overs which doesn't bode well for a good time on the Sunday. RESULT - have to be happy with a PB considering the lack of preparation, and I suppose it leaves the sub 1:50 aim for another day Purple Patch Runners 1:53:35 1:53:35 1:55:00 1:53:35 51.46
