Blister Blister Found this one tough, especially since I haven't been running since the Tough Ten 2 weeks ago and still got a cold. Ran it with club mate and used this as a good training run for Bath half, but I probably couldn't have run much faster anyway. Finished 235 out of 769. 1:42:48 46.55

RFJ RFJ Arrived in plenty of time and prepped in the usual way, it was very cold and windy but dry. Looked at the map as there were some significant changes to the race including a change in milage now 11.5 miles and not 11. A lot of people at the start area (approx 800-900), so the start was a bit manic, the first half mile or so was on road then in to the fields and straight down a hill in to a large puddle of **** not avoidable so ran strainght through it.... For the next few miles following farmers fields, canal paths and a few undulations. The at about 4.5m the gully, about a mile up a guess what a gully very muddy and very hard work, this is where the g=hard work starts, the 1st of 4 monster hills that are impossible to run yet alone walk, crawling seemed appropriate. I would hate to think what my heart rate would be...... So finally to the fouth hill (aptly named the (Sting in the tail) up and over the white horse of Pewsey. Finally onto the flat, completly knackered then to clean all the mud of we go through the shoe wash, (the local freezing cold stream - about six paces accross and 2 feet deep bbrrrrr......) Then homeward bound in a very tired state to the finish line in 1:39:15 (Pos 190). The terminator - will you be back - yes I will, this is the best race of the year ( and fairly hard as well.............................................. Now for a bath

Running Fish Running Fish first time for this race, had heard lots of good things about it, and wasnt disappointed. very well organised with a high density of marshalls, nearly all with encouraging comments. excellent variety of terrain, making the most of available features. a real pleasure to run, and although demanding, didnt seem like a chore. it lasted about the length of a 1/2m but felt shorter than a 10k.

Running Postie Running Postie Its called terminator for a reason.Mud water hills,more hills more water more mud.I found it very tough going but enjoyable none the less.The course measured on my garmin as 11.68 miles,the marshals were superb,friendly and encouraging just when you needed it.As they say i will be back> 2:11:16 1:50:33 49.21
