CrazyLegs Very well organised race it's just a shame about the dodgy course! It was a pity that more people hadn't come to watch the runners. Good beginners run. Unaffiliated 48:55 48:55 1:00:00 1:03:05 48.08

Fat Man Runs This race has fantastic organisation and atmosphere pity it's let down by such a dog of a course (albeit the final k is better).

I've had enough of running around decidedly dodgy housing estates and all the undulations of going under those underpasses.

Tamworth Heart Runners do a great job, it's just let down by the town - I know they can't help it but it kind of turns you off going again! Unaffiliated 47:15 52:19 52:19 51.24

Greenman Due to hamstring problems, this one was a jog out just to see how things went. No real reaction from the muscle so hopefully will be fit enough for Bury 20 next weekend. Grantham Running club 37:07 37:10 45:30 61.38

JAH Great race. Some of the paths a bit crowded, but didn't seem to slow me down too much. Garmin measured it as a bit over 10k, so I had thought I was on target for sub-50. (Time for Garmin 10k: 49:34). Enjoyed the race, even though the leader passed me heading back to the finish when I had only done just over 3km!! Maybe next time I can get under that 50min barrier! Jam My first race, really enjoyed it. Bit crowded at the start but I think that stopped me running to fast for the first couple of K's. Definitely be back for this one next year. Unaffiliated 49:30 49:30 49:56 53.59

Lincsfella whoa..... a pb where did that come from. not a bad event nicely organised and a lady mayor at the end to give the medals. and a finishing position of around 75th. UKnetrunner 39:47 40:37 42:32 64.30
NathT First ever 10K run. Was pleased with time, need to start training hard for the half marathon in silverstone Unaffiliated 56:19 56:19 57:34 46.41
Neal S Cycled there and back from Solihull (40 miles). Unaffiliated 44:57 47:19 47:19 56.80
Neil Oldfield Much better route than last year, only prob was the start isnt big enough for all the people that enter, so the first Km or so was really slow, still managed a PB though. The finish through the town was good as well. Very well organised, just not the most scenic of runs. After last year, really didnt think Id enjoy this or run well...wrong on both counts!!! Unaffiliated 45:56 46:46 48:12 55.45
Ness OH dropped out of this race 10 minutes before the start!! Was hoping to use him a a pacemaker! Despite that, the training had gone really well so don't know what happened to the time. Oh says my weak hip muscles are restricting my stride length so I've reached the point where I won't be able to improve my race times. Not sure about that myself. Did enjoy the atmosphere of the race though :) FERC 54:12 55:06 53:00 55:09 56.31

phal Enjoyed that run, but thought my legs were going to drop off after the first 2k! Went out a little too fast!!! Pleased though as a new PB :o) Pinchi - that was me who spotted you :o) As I said - in a fetch t-shirt you're hard to miss :o) Northbrook AC, FARC 40:16 41:28 43:18 70.05
Pinchi A well organised race, and I thought the course was an improvement on the previous couple of years - although I did miss the burnt out car. Finish through the town centre was good. Hello to the fellow Fetchie who spotted me at about 2k - struggling to breathe at the time, so hadn't much to say - sorry! Nice medal and goody bag - kids loved the space blanket! Time about where I guessed having not been able to train properly for 3 weeks through illness. Wolverhampton & Bilston AC, Midland Masters A C 36:43 40:53 42:56 64.55

taulpaul Third year of running this race and still as good as ever. It doesnt seem to matter that its not at all scenic as long as its well organised with a great medal. Not a great time for me but i haven't done much training so it was to be expected really. A good first race of the year.
