brotherjohn Manage to win the race somehow:-) Would have liked to have been a bit quicker, but it was not the fastest of courses. Hilly in the second half, but that's where I won it, so I wont moan about the hills;-) Love the sunshine! Dorset Doddlers 27:42 27:42 28:14 87.41

Uncruliar From my limited experience this seemed a well organised race. Felt like uphill virtually all the way, only two downhills of any note both quite steep and both in the final mile. All became clear when I realised that the finish was actually higher than the start.

Splits were approximately
10.00
10.15
10.30
11.00
9.40

On reflection I should have been able to go faster, certainly in the 4th mile and probably would do so if I run this race again. As it was I felt tired, the hills were steep, and I didn't know what was to come. Overall I really enjoyed this race. Felt like a 'real' runner at the end.
