Stowmarket Striders Scenic 7

Sun November 8 2009
11 Entrants Club PB SB Pred Time WAVA
AngeM Two and half minutes slower than last year but I guess, it's to be expected considering the 8 month injury lay off, so it'll do as a marker of my fitness right now. Nice little race with encouraging marshalls, and I think it's scenic! City of Norwich AC 51:32 58:00 58:00 60.59
BrianH Harwich Runners 40:20 40:20 40:20 77.97
Dirk Am failry pleased although just a little slower than last year (16 secs!) but this time last year i didn't have an 11 weeks old daughter and 11 weeks of sleepless nights - so like to think i could have done better if i'd had more sleep! Roll on next year... Ipswich JAFFA RC 50:16 54:29 53:30 54:29 56.22
FRU (KeepTheFaith) Really wicked event again - bloody fab marshalling and cake/tea/coffee's brilliant! Fast - flat - Tops! :) Goyt Valley Striders 1:03:00 1:03:00 1:03:00 56.85

LEECE Run was pretty good.. started off bit too quick, been suffering with bad chesty cough and virus for weeks. So would of been happy with the same time i done 2 years ago which was 1:08 something.

Walked couple of places as i got light headed.. could of brought home a 1:02:00 realistically but onwards and up. Lowestoft Road Runners 1:04:54 1:04:54 1:03:00 1:04:54 53.13

slowfish No PB so no pressure. Plan was to run at target HM pace (7.38) No problems, even the hill at mile 5 didnt slow me down too much. Pushed the last mile and a half, very strong finish. (7.30,7.35,7.35,7.34,7.51,7.24,7.12) Bure Valley Harriers 48:58 52:41 54:00 52:41 58.36
stu8 well a nice race as ever with a very handy mini towel souvenir. as for time well considering all my training times have been down about 10-15 seconds/mile after a virus moderately pleased with outcome :-) Thetford AC 44:51 45:14 45:14 68.64
