Jubear Could I have run harder? Yes.. but not 15 mins harder, so wouldn't have threatened the first lady vet. Could I have gone 1 min faster and done the pb thing? Probably. I was very comfortable at a couple of points, where, if I was a racer, I ought to have pushed on, but then I was bloody gasping at a couple of other points so WTF knows. Still, good to have finished 2008 on a best time for distance for the year. Also v. happy there was no pain in foot or knee and running in the b*st*d cold suits me. tom_craggs Al about trying to keep Christmas dinner down. The last 'training race' of base training for FLM.**Very stiff legs after xmas eve football so overall pleased with the run - only 22nd though so quite a competitive race.
