MB99 PB very unlikely as this is a hilly course.
STUNNED. Totally unexpected time and really enjoyed the race. Good course well organised and even the weather held off best it could.
As with hayling broke PBs from 5k onwards and felt strong all the way round. Even managed to pass a couple of people in last couple of miles up hill :-)
Looking forward to next year, oh and nearly forgot great goody bag :-)

RunningBob Ran this last year and there is a killer hill around half way - twice as long as it first appears. Really nice day last year helped me run 56:46. Will do well to match that.

I didn't - finished 13th and 3rd V40. 4 places and 1 min down on last year.

Friendly and challenging as ever but weather was savage cold at the start. Felt cold for the first 3 miles. I didn't run well up the hills and finished at the back of the group. Must run harder!

The start was a bit of a farce as we connected with the back markers on the 2nd lap of the track but otherwise well organised. Wilmslow RC 54:44 56:21 56:30 57:59 79.23
jmc Bummer, spent ages doing hill sessions up the killer hill half way round and was a minute outside my PB from the previous year. Stockport Harriers & AC 58:52 1:03:16 1:01:00 1:03:16 69.62
blimeythatsbendy Cold, wet, windy, on tired legs. One day i will nail this in sub 60, but not today. I hit halfway at 30.40 but there is no chance of a negative split on this course. Still - mustn't grumble as I did it a minute quicker than last year. Stockport Harriers & AC 1:03:16 1:03:16 1:04:31 1:03:16 69.62
Should Av Run Quicker The pain is still fresh on this one. My time all depends on how much hill training I can do before hand. I've not got the amount of training due to injury so a definite slower time than originally planned for me. Do not bet.
Ran better than I anticipated, didn't really race it but ran very comfortably all the way around. Stockport Harriers & AC 1:01:23 1:05:13 1:06:00 1:05:13 69.34
