BrianJ Looking at all the other predictions I'll likely be near the back of the field here. But do know the route very well and have just managed 11-12 miles at 10min/mile round most of the course so am optimistically predicting a pb here.
Post race note: Weather couldn't have been any better...managed 2:13 (own Garmin time), not quite what I predicted, but still a pb :=). Think gun-finish time was about 2:13:30. Glad I earnt some points for all you gamblers! North Herts Road Runners 2:11:44 2:13:05 2:12:00 2:13:05 49.69
Bul didn't like this course one bit! sold as a flat course but had tons of cr@ppy up and downs through subways. Not major hills but really annoying and couldn't get into a decent stride for the whiole race. Also had really poor mile markers. According to them I did a 6'15 3rd mile followed by a 5'09 4th!Hate that! Clapham Chasers 1:12:36 1:17:03 1:17:03 75.33

GD My first half for a few months - and it went surprisingly well! First time I've done Stevenage, and I must say it was very well organised. Quite scenic too, and most importantly pretty flat! A few minor inclines (mostly coming out of subways!) - look forward to coming back. FERC 1:27:25 1:44:14 1:45:00 1:44:14 55.78
Hipster Missed a PB by 54 secs unfortunatley. This course was enjoyable, but plenty of underpass twists and turns, which made it more difficult to get into a decent running rhythm. Sorry to the people that bet on me. Next time! Unaffiliated 1:35:46 1:36:11 1:36:10 1:37:04 59.80

SUPERWOMAN63 I have had a sore hamstring for a few weeks and although it felt a lot better this weekend l was worried l might not finish the race as it can be undulating in lots of places and l didn't want to injure myself any more than necessary. The weather was great and the marshalls as friendly and encouraging as l remembered from the year before, l did get around the course albeit a bit slower than l would have liked BUT at least l was still in one piece and added another medal to my collection.
Will l return next year for the 3rd time ( probably ). Unaffiliated 2:17:00 2:17:00 2:30:00 2:32:30 44.60
