Rich963 Slightly disappointed with the time (about a minute outside my pb), but it was warm and muggy and I set off much too fast, so I shouldn't be surprised. KM markers were a bit out, which didn't help. Course was good - reasonably flat, along country lanes - and field of around 200 meant it wasn't too crowded. Finished strongly, so think I maybe could have pushed on more in the middle section. Enjoyed the day though, and ran home to make it an 18 mile day. 23rd out of 195. RunningRev ARGH! Terrible day! At 6 - 7 K my knee that I had injured a couple of weeks ago gave on me, so I nearly went flat on my face! I then struggled in some pain the way to the finish Line. I had a very stron start with some under 4 minute KMs, but I must have over done it. Having some more days off, then I hope to win back the money people lost on me for them for the next race.
