Vicksta VERY Hot and VERY Hilly. Despite that I enjoyed the race and felt I ran well considering the conditions. Was 6th women finisher, and 1st Senior...shame there was no age groupings really cos I would have won! Harlow RC 44:17 49:13 50:00 54:03 55.18
Vindicator My god this was hot and the hills did not help. Was running pretty well until 5K where I startred to overheat. A nasty Hill at 8K forced me to power walk up - was faster than a runner along side me though. Was dissapointed to be forced to power walk a bit further on as I did not feel areobically tired, just HOT. Put on a good sprint at the end to fend off a rival trying to run me down. Overall very pleased given the conditions. Harlow RC 40:21 46:10 53:00 52:45 50.12
