BrianJ Gave it everything, but set off a little too quickly - got to 5K in 27:40 then was overtaken a lot in the second half. Conditions were perfect, race well organised. North Herts Road Runners 55:07 56:20 57:00 56:51 53.75
Charlie Chaplin Happy with the time but a badly executed race. Fastest mile 7.00 mins, slowest mile 8.30 mins and not all due to gradient. BRJ Run and Tri 46:52 48:00 48:15 61.74

Joopsy Looking to beat last years 56:22 in my first 10k. I should do it really as I am training on the course as it starts and finishes at the end of my road!

Get in there, a great big new shiny PB!!!! Woo hoo! VEGAN RUNNERS UK 44:39 51:27 55:00 51:27 52.87

KatieB Really no clue, i'll be running it as prep for GER which is the following week, so not expecting pb. Update. Start to finish chip time says 45:00, starting horn (oh er) to finish is 45.23...I am as chuffed as a chuffedy thing, couldn't be chuffdier. Held back on the pace a few times and it's a hilly course...there's more to come. :-) Bedford Harriers AC 45:00 45:00 48:00 45:00 68.36
Lieutenant Lucerne If I do get a PB it will be by just a few seconds. Will certainly give it a go, but far from guaranteed. ***Update*** Did better than I expected; in particular I was a lot faster than last year on the uphill sections at 7K and 9K. Clearly the hill training is working.

Little Linz Hurrah! Can't believe the time - really pleased. I'm not sure what this betting business is all about but hope this was good for those of you who bet on me!!! Unaffiliated 44:50 52:20 57:00 52:20 58.11
Martyn Fisher Pre-race comment - it was a toss up between Standalone or Woburn on 7th October. I picked Standalone, simply because it's closer to home. It's only a week after returning from a fortnight's holiday (with no running), so not sure how I'll cope with it.
Post-race comment - Stop watch said 46:40, provisional chip time on the web-site says 46:27 (I'll take the latter as it's official !) - this is a pretty good time for me, slightly better than expected given I've had just one run in the last 3 weeks. Good to see KatieB, Diva and a recovering No 8 providing vocal support. Almost Athletes 45:42 45:42 47:00 46:27 61.08

Silvershadow Can't say if I'll PB or not. Training miles are well up on the last time I did a 10k back in May so may be worth a punt.
Really pleased with my time. Even with the hills it was way faster than before. Bedford Harriers AC 1:00:49 1:09:27 1:14:00 1:09:27 46.72
