CookPassBabtridge Ambitious time considering the lack of taper, started off at slightly quicker than 1.45 pace but the tired legs really told on the hills of which there were lots. Pretty happy considering it was a 100 mile week though :-) Notts AC 1:42:12 1:47:05 1:45:00 1:47:05 79.01

SPKoF Very happy after the debacle that was folksworth. Held target marathon pace the whole way despite the hilly course. Felt a little tired after 25k but lack of food all week due to a stomach bug probably played a part.

1:09:30 @ 15k and 2:20 at 30k so near perfect pacing. Long Eaton Running Club 2:07:46 2:20:00 2:20:00 60.53

Lieutenant Lucerne Spent most of the preceding week with a bad cold, which probably contributed to the slower than predicted time. However, with such good weather I wouldn't have missed this race. The course was more hilly than undulating and the climb in the 27th km was probably the hardest (certainly the slowest for me).
Decided to run it at a steady even pace, without pushing to hard and almost managed a 50:50 split.
Due to various factors (notably a family illness) I have reduced my training mileage, with a noticeable drop in fitness. However it was good enough simply to be able to run on such a lovely day. Unaffiliated 2:20:41 2:20:41 2:17:00 2:20:41 65.05

Lincsfella great race, suffered with stomach upset tho but event itself was really impressive, you can see why its so popular, time is garmin time so might change by a second or 2. UKnetrunner 2:24:31 2:26:42 2:30:00 2:26:42 59.00

Boba Not quite my predicted time, but 12 minutes faster than last year, so a new PB. I forgot how undulating the course was, but the weather was good, excellent organisation, and the marshalls were the most encouraging to be found at any race, all made for a great day. Running Caz stamford striders 30km - great event :-) Really well organised, enthusiastic marshalls and a very beautiful day for running, perfect in fact. Great scenery and jumper and also a goody bag. We ran a little faster than we had planned but still managed a negative split by 3mins. Still had another couple of miles in us at the finish. Garmin was reading 7:55 and 8:05 in the last couple of miles which is great :-) Really pleased with this run :-) Cobra RC 2:40:50 2:44:24 3:00:00 2:44:24 57.15

EO Really enjoyed run, weather helped perfect sunny day. Ran with Em, ron, menchu + j/babies. Thanks guys for making it a brill run!! Felt ok all way round, steady run, hills didn't seem that bad although alot of them. Ankles tired for last mile but disappeared as soon as got on the softer grass and found some energy for a strong finish. Malt loaf, jaffas, jam tarts, flapjacks for post run munchies, yum!! Pupas Inside knees nagging 3/4 of the course: shoes too new still or still need fine-tuning?
Hips good; left hamstring tigh even before the start; only felt playing all against after km 25.

Ultra Sparkly Bridget (USB) Part of my training for FLM. Never raced this distance so no idea about time really. UPDATE. Hilly rather than undulating but had a great time with glorious weather. Went off quicker than planned but was feeing fine so kept it going. As a result faded in the latter bit but did break both my 10 mile and half mara pbs en route :-) Buckingham & Stowe RC 3:00:11 3:11:28 3:30:00 3:11:28 52.33
