Chaz Hit the halfway marker in 62m15s, 10miles in 66m57s. Didnt quite have the legs from 24k onwards, but happy with a 2h06m. Will put in some fast long runs now, so I hopefully have this speed to 18m at FLM without feeling quite as empty as I did. Wootton Road Runners 2:06:38 2:06:38 2:05:00 2:06:38 66.74

Coffeeman Running Constantly undulating course with around 1000 feet of up & down. Nice field of 600 plus and plenty of space out there after the first 2k. After lots of rain it turned out to be a nice day. I just kept on knocking out km splits of 5:00 to 5:10 until the hills eventually began to take their toll and I think I slowed a bit from about 23 to 29 km. I didn't have much in the tank at the end, I know that, and am very pleased with my time as this brings a climax to the last two months of training. Two or three easy weeks now and then a strong build up to my spring marathon. This race on a beautiful course has given me lots of confidence, especially as none of my niggles really troubled me. What a nice, well organised race. Proud to be a yellow belly! UKnetrunner 2:32:25 2:32:25 2:32:25 62.68
controversial My first race as a pacer on a 10min/mile pace. Quite a lot of fun on a nice sunny day. Very undulating course for a very nice race! Clapham Chasers 3:06:38 3:06:38 3:08:00 3:06:38 45.28

flanker running at WP mara pace, just to understand what I need to do in the next 3 months training.

Update: need to do lots. To start with learn how to pace 8:30s properly, and not start with 3 x sub 8. Having been on for 2:30 at 15k, ended up with a dodgy knee and just a fraction under target. It will do .... for now. Todmorden Harriers & AC, Trail Running Association, Fell Runners Association, LDWA 2:19:25 2:44:04 2:45:00 2:44:04 51.97
frizzle Not as fit as I was this time last year so now hoping to do this in under 3 hours! Yaxley Runners and Joggers 2:54:01 3:00:00
Gaubfar aiming to do this one at marathon pace, so will see how it goes as will be my longest run to date UPDATE, really good run, though struggled the last 5km, beat predicted time by 17 mins and target time by 8 mins so well happy.... Greenman Pulled my hamstring early on. Painful, particularly downhill but managed (foolishly?) to carry on and finish. Nowhere near the time I was after, pi**ed off doesn't come near it. Hopefully not out for too long. Grantham Running club 2:03:36 2:10:47 2:10:47 67.14
hellen much hillier than expected. Had to slow myself down to keep HR down as this was a training run. Had energy in reserve for last few miles so increased the pace and finishing feeling I could do more which I suppose is what a trainign run is meant to be like 100 Marathon Club, Barrow Runners 2:17:40 3:07:28 3:05:00 3:07:28 50.21

SPKoF Not too tough. Been ill all week so was a little worried so downgraded my 'hold my half marathon PB for as long as possible' idea and went with the sensible hold PMP.

Good course with excellent marshalls. the weather held for us and even got warm towards the end.

Finally meet KinkyS and Flanker and dumped myself as KS's running partner for the first 15k. Long Eaton Running Club 2:07:46 2:25:59 2:30:00 2:25:59 57.95

Vickyy Didn't want to go out too fast as wasn't sure I would survive the distance otherwise. Managed to hold sub 8.30s - hillier course than I was expecting but helped my confidence with marathon training - did have two stops to actually take on water and use energy gels (trying them for the first time) so lost 5 mins but needed to try out the gels. Now focusing on completing marathon in 3.40 hours!!! Long Eaton Running Club 2:28:00 2:40:39 2:40:39 58.48
