Buzzards Sis Hard work, lots of uneven paths, long grass, very deep mud and long, tiring undulations. Lots of people commented on how hard the course was. My thighs and calves are feeling it! I did enjoy it though and actually scored for the club this time, allbeit, still from the stragglers at the back. I was 3rd out of 5 girls for the club. The race was officially 5 miles but several people with GPS systems made it 5.4. Striders of Croydon AC 37:55 51:32 52:00 52:54 45.58
Caterpillar Hello and welcome to Surrey where the weather has suddenly taken a turn for the better just in time for the 2 o'clock from Epsom. It's a class field in front of the magnificent new stand, so for the betting and the course let's go over to Peter. Unaffiliated 33:57 38:25 38:25 60.92
Tappers only my second XC for Walton Athletic Club. This was extremely hard was 5.4 miles. I did 5 miles in 36.16 which would have been fairer. The time reflects the hellish hills, mud, long grass, dangerous divets and strong strong wind. Two Laps round Epsom race course. The Sun shone though!

How they can find a race which did two laps but was always uphill? Walton AC 33:58 36:15 36:00 38:52 55.69
