lottypotty Mud,mud & more mud....& some very cold water.....still enjoyed it & didn't feel too knackered at the end, though tomorrow I suspect I may ache. Agree with Mr & Mrs Jigs comments, the start was totally disorganised & those who were in position when the race started may need to revisit the word Weston AC, Womens Running Network Weston-super-Mare

Running Caz Great, as always. Much muddier than usual and therefore tougher. Loved it from beginning to end :-) No idea how long it took, need to wait for results. Cobra RC 2:05:00 2:05:00 2:05:00 37.51
Ultra Sparkly Bridget (USB) What can I say? It was mud, mud, mud ............ oh and a bit of water as well. I think I am going to hurt in places I didn't know I had tomorrow morning ;-) Oh yes, I got a spot prize as well, a huge bar of chocolate :-) Buckingham & Stowe RC 2:07:37 2:07:37 2:07:37 39.52

Jigs 9 and a bit miles of grass, mud, road, mud, sh!te, freezing cold waist deep water, mud, hills, mud, more sh!te... did I mention mud? Didn't enjoy this as much as I expected to, don't think it was the mud that put me off but the sh!te! If I want mud again I'll do Cardiac arrest again. Mud water and hills, no sh!te and 30 miles away instead of 130!! Unaffiliated 1:38:46 1:38:46 1:38:46 43.38
Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) Jigs and I ran this one together for a bit of fun :) :) :) Iit seems while the majority of people were assembled on the playground paying our respects for Remembrance Day others were already at the start line and had a head start.

Quite a good race, less hilly than I thought it would be, far to much animal poop which was off putting, ploughed fields were slippery and hard work, otherwise a good event, you could tell when you were approaching the serious water sections as spectators were baying for blood, paid them back by splashing some with muddy water LOL :) Lovely to see Sparkly Bridget at the start looking all bouncy and full of fun! :) and nice to meet mjm37 and his litlins at the finish :) I was lucky enough to win a spot prize, but unlucky that it was a bottle of wine, no good to a non drinker. oh and I should say, the Tshirts don't half look nice :)

daz1927 Much muddier, and hence harder, than when I'd run this before. Smashed my knee on a brick/rock when I went down in one of the waterry bits, blood and mud look sooo lovely together :-) Village Vipers 1:30:30 1:30:30 1:30:00 1:30:30 47.71
