Penelope Pitstop Easily the most difficult race I have completed so far. The course has some steep hills, both up and down. Involved alot of sliding about and alot of mud and water and cow poo ! Charlotte, Mike, Mark and me all did it. We had a nice meal at the harvester at Cribbs on the way home. Weston AC 1:48:02 48.15
lottypotty Tougher than the Tough Ten & the weather today was good. Finished(which was my main aim) & as my training was severely hit by illness I'm pleasantly pleased. Will do it again next year when I'm firing on all 4 cylinders!! Many Thanks to the mud surfing banana-I'd didn't feel much like laughing at 8 miles! ToBaldlyGo A great day out! Fantastic course, good organisation, unlimited bananas at the finish. First time for this race so no time to go on but I would have been happy with anything under two hours so I was very pleased with 1hr 44mins. Weston AC 1:44:33 49.74

Vindicator Fantastic race and very good fun - although my wife would say that I did not get muddy enough! Went off far to fast as I was not wearing any gadgets. I did the first 2 miles at >10K pace - which could explain why I was knackered for the hill. Recovered a bit for the fun in the lake at ~5miles and took it easy for the journey back to the common. The sound of a baying crowd greeted you for a series of mud baths before the run in for the hot tubs. I'll take it less seriously next time and embrace the mud. Harlow RC 1:30:00 1:25:47 52.71
