Krukers My 4th time round. Hope to have something 'left in the tank' for the last hill at WaunFawr. Last year was 1.37 / 2.03 split! :-( #421 Swansea Harriers AC 3:08:47 3:11:14 3:30:00 3:27:52 65.54
stone monkey Lets go sub 3hrs this year!.............yeah right!!, going well until 10miles, then my calfs had other ideas. Plodded on until the end, not my best performance but glad to finish. Perhaps running in cardiff did'nt help.......but theres always next yr. Swansea Harriers AC 2:42:08 2:51:00 3:15:30 62.36

Velociraptor A splendid event. Tricky course (the last 4 miles are particularly challenging) and we had truly horrible weather today. I'm delighted with the way I ran and with my time, but suspect I may take a week to thaw out. Cumberland AC 3:36:39 4:09:54 4:30:00 4:09:54 56.54

eL Bee! Snowdonia Marathon - Going great as a paced run until 21 miles where the wind in my back that was ferreezing the hairs off my legs (and meant my calves were bloody freezing) meant that I was fighting cramp for 3 miles, and missed running up the hill from Waunfawr - which I was REALLY looking forward to! Strangely the off-road descent was fine - And I picked up everyone who'd gone past me in the preceding couple of miles - and then some! Cracking run in with a youngster over the last mile. My actual pace for the finish was 4:41m/m - so definitely hadn't overworked the legs - I think they just ran out of glycogen because they were cold! SO wish I'd gone with my initial instinct to wear long socks (or long tights!!! Cumberland AC 2:59:43 3:50:46 3:50:46 54.74

Duncs just got a PB in Abingdon so not going to very fresh for this. - felt not at all bad. I think the wind and the rain and the hills distracted me from the aching in my legs. Very tough but loads of fun. 100 Marathon Club, Highland Hill Runners 3:23:46 3:23:46 5:00:00 3:48:53 54.40

UPDATE!!
Fine up to the 21 mile mark and on course for a good PB and then legs cramped along with stomach to make the last five a truly horrendous cold survival ordeal, but I did it. Unaffiliated 3:41:29 4:04:22 3:40:00 4:04:22 50.19

Cavey I'm in. God knows what to expect, but i'm thinking hills!! UPDATE i absolutely loved it. Felt comfortable all the way, and wish i'd pushed a bit more between 21 and 24 as i might have sneaked under 4.30 then. Handsworth Roadhogs RC 4:12:04 4:12:04 4:59:00 4:33:26 44.46
