DIY Diva Really love these Serpie events. Great to use as training runs. Thrilled with current fitness now. Great start to the New Year since this time last year I gingerly ran just one mile after returning from a knee injury. Fab Fetch Fest. Feel like I'm hugging SarahL daily atm! Helegant Dilemma - do I plod round as a training run - which would take forever, or do I get caught up in the race atmosphere and make an effort to go a bit faster to start the year with a baseline time. Plod would be 01:30:00, race could be 01:15:00 or less. Presently (31/12) legs feel as if 01:30:00 would be a good time. 1/1/08 Decided to go for a fast training run - which was to fast on lap 1, great on lap 2 and faded on lap 3. Puffing Bertie Well another smiley race for me......and im still feeling good about it. I just know once i have lost some weight and my head is completly sorted i will be knocking those PBs off :-) I tried to hang on to kitty and her mum but i think it was on the second lap i lost them, but i could still see them....thats the beauty of 3 laps, no one is ever that far away from you even if they are 1 LAP ahead. I only got lapped by 3 guys who went zoooming past, so that was pleasing. Unaffiliated 53:43 53:43 53:43 58.67
