Capricorn I just hope it's not too hot and I don't get lost !
* update *
Weather was fine and I didn't get lost ! I found the route well marked, enough water at the checkpoints. A bit more road than I expected, but the trail parts were enjoyable - especially the Yew forest with the blue/red string path! Nice finish passed the Cathedral and the town centre. A few mile markers would have been useful. Unaffiliated 3:27:16 3:46:22 4:15:00 4:25:00 52.47

Foxy after my first taste of Off road running i wasn't looking forward to this but it was well marked so didn't require the instructions.

lots of tough hills the most brutal coming a mere mile into the race !!

a pretty good medal & a nice massage - changing facilities in local leisure centre were good. 100 Marathon Club, MK Lakeside Runners, Milton Keynes Lakeside Runners 3:09:27 3:26:47 4:59:59 4:39:10 43.67
Gobi Wahoo a win ok a joint win but a win. Nice run at a sold pace around rather more road than I expected but this meant I could crack on. The course had some solid climbs and the navigation at points was ER interesting. Enjoyable day out. Was very good to spend the time running and chatting to a very high quality runner. Shadow Walker Slow training run for time on feet. Not as much time on the feet as planned but a good run. Well done Gobi you are a machine. City of Salisbury A & RC 2:57:51 3:03:25 4:00:00 3:40:59 56.73

Yellow Fang I'm doing this partly as training for The Big Woody, and partly just to see if I can struggle around, because I haven't been doing much running recently through runner's knee. At present I'm not too bothered about the time, but I may feel a bit more competitive on the day. It's probably not a good idea, as my knee still isn't brilliant.

I managed it in 3:44. Given the way I was running, I was surprised it wasn't a bit quicker. Gobi said it was nearer 44Km, which would explain it. I felt pretty good until about 15 miles when it started to get harder. It was all fairly pleasant till then. After about 20 miles, it started to get hard. I didn't appreciate the last few miles at all, especially the tour around Salisbury. Anyway, I was pleased to get around. Reading Roadrunners 3:06:53 3:44:00 4:00:00 3:44:00 55.97
