About this parkrun
Loved this one! Such a great setting by the river. The terrain is a bit tricky when you are near the river and trail shoes would be preferred, but other sections are more suitable to road... take your pick! Super easy parking galore!twinny 28th Dec 2018
Lovely out and back with the noise of the motorway in the background. Views of the waterskiing lake for entertainment. Surface can be tricky to run on alongside the canal with broken bricks etc to navigate. Plenty of easy parking, very flat.

Fast course if dry, nice along the river when using the edges of the path is advisable. Managed a pb last week, although the course measured a little short on my garmin - perhaps judicious use of the inside on the river path bends helps. Road shoes.

Sale Waterpark is lovely and this is a nice out and back route. The surface alongside the Mersey is a bit challenging though, with lots of rubble underfoot.

Out and back with a bit of stoney ground in the middle that will stop any PBs. Lovely run by the river though

The rocks are sketchy and the dead turn a pain but its largely flat so at points you can open the taps .
Not too big so even seeing runners coming the other way it's not a major issue.

For those visiting via electric car there are a dozen or so chargers in the car park but were not not powered up yet when I visited today but look close to being activated.

Fast and flat out and back course along the Mersey then Sale water park, lovely route. Cafe and toilets near the start with lots of parking. Some paths are a little uneven but mostly suitable to road shoes.
