Mazza aka Fitso One of the most unpleasant runs I've ever done, and the torrential rain had nothing to do with it! Poorly organised - too many people - too much waiting / being ordered around. Atmosphere was distinctly boot camp. I knew it wasn't going to be fun when we started off with a couple of laps of the car park. The route was far too narrow for the volume of runners and there didn't seem to have been any attempt to divide runners accoring to expected finish time so there were lots of walkers at the front which really slowed everything down. The most impressive part was the speed that the finish times were texted out - within a few minutes of crossing the line. I didn't think the concert / run format worked at all, and the idea of herding people into the middle of ground and forcing them to stand in a cramped holding pen for an hour and and half before the race began was appalling. I felt the whole event had a bit of a hint of Nuremburg Rally about it. Definitely NOT a fun run. Unaffiliated 44:49 48:02 50:02 62.99
