Round Norfolk Relay - Stage 2

AngeM Garmin time. I think this okay for an off road RNR stage and it is a lovely route-varied terrain but flat. Got a tiny bit warm at the end-so exposed nature of the route (not too much shade) makes this feel worse. Last 2 miles are a bit soul destroying because you're getting tired, so running on knobbly grass bank is hard-going and you can see the finish, but you have to go past it and loop back round. You can really open up and push on for that 5k on road in the middle though, and along the boardwalk sections/more compact bits of the coastal path, and you can go suprisingly fast along the higgledy piggledy grass path parallel to the golf course! Pleased-ish with time, ahead of estimated time on team sheet by 5 mins, but didn't quite do my aimed for 8.00 min/mile pace-think that was due to fall on the slippery chicken wire-boardwalk. Some indecision on direction to step to when seeing a dogwalker. The chicken wire boardwalk won which lead to 2 bloody gashed knees and an elbow. This took me out of stride for a bit and also, walked a couple of times in the last mile due to Lucozade Sport belly symptoms and I wanted retain my dignity with no City of Norwich AC 1:54:32 1:54:32 1:59:31 1:54:32 63.52
