Baigrie First 10km race - i loved it! The crowd were fantastic all the way round and I'll definetly be back next year. Just got a shock when I saw my chip time, thought I'd be within 59 minutes but delighted with 53'54. Unaffiliated 53:54 53:54 59:59 53:54 55.58

ClaireT Really enjoyed this race, and the crowd support was amazing. Warm and sunny conditions which suited me fine. I ran better than expected as the calf problems I've had all week didn't surface today, felt on form, and more relaxed than usual. Only 4s off my recent PB at Troon which I'm pleased about especially considering this is a tougher course. Really liked those strawberry choccie cornflake thingies in the goodie bag! And well done to dd for running the whole way, you did it! Victoria Park - City of Glasgow AC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 38:11 38:11 38:39 77.32
dd Very pleased :) Ran all the way for the 1st time ever and beat 1.05 :) Beyond my expectations due to recent injury woes but very happy with todays race. Very hot and congested at times and the hill in Pollok Park went on for about half the race! ;) But just happy to get it over with and have a good one. UPDATE: Official time 1.04.22 3s faster than garmin = even better! Unaffiliated 1:01:42 1:01:54 1:04:22 47.22

gilly b A new PB - well chuffed! Didn't feel that I got totally in to my stride, managed to walk a few feet before setting off up the pollok park hill, however still a million times better than last couple of races. Unaffiliated 47:58 47:58 49:13 64.04
Gus Woke up after a rotten night's sleep and thought it would be hell. Ran with babysprog and we blethered until about 7k when she told be to go on cos she needed to walk. Felt really good not even the hill in the park beat me. After last year I actually overtook more folk than overtook me and managed a wee sprint finish:) Still faster than last year but I was running for fun with my daughter, and it was my most enjoyable race ever! slow mo 1st race so just waiting to see how it goes, looking forward to being with like minded folks!

Well i'ts all over and what a first race, really chuffed since after putting in predicted time really believed i was looking at 1.15. Garmin time 1.02. The hill was hard as lots of people in a small space who were slowing down, but it didn't kill me till the heat on the road afterwards, thanks to great running buddy ran all the way, the last 1k was the longest but the support got me through. Thanks must go to the pipers who's music was w ell sweet to mark each kilometer. Bannanas never tasted so good! TENTATIVE Unaffiliated 58:00 1:02:00 1:00:00 1:02:00 49.81
Tigerlily First time doing this race and it will be my 2nd of 3 10K races in May. Not really fussed on how long it takes, just want to do my best and enjoy it. Hey, it will be like a long Sunday run..with a medal at the end! UPDATE: I loved this race. Garmin time 01:01:54. The first one I have been able to run the whole way. The vomit inducing heat near the end nearly killed me off but I got there. Not cracked the 60 minutes yet but it will happen! Unaffiliated 55:00 1:01:30 1:01:53 49.35
