Homer Helluva confusion at the start with only 1 working loo for all the men and a delayed start. Once we got going I really enjoyed the race. The marshalls were friendly and the course flat. Ok, grumble time (sorry)....I was almost ran over by a double decker bus after 4.5 miles and electrocuted by a falling electric cable and the queue for water was back past the finish line. My watch time was 25 seconds ahead of my official time and I was officially 20 seonds behind someone that I actually finished in front off. (I hate to grumble when all these folk organised a good race on Hogmany) (Grumble over) The organisers did their best and smiled all the way. Everyone else was happy and I managed a great time so......I'll still do it next year. I'm off to the pub! FERC 33:38 37:48 40:00 37:48 55.96
