northernrunner very disappointed with my out come to this race as was quite confident of getting a new pb but missed out by 38 seconds. not really sure what went wrong as by 10 mile was ahead of my pb at that distance. very well organised by tees valley council for the park and ride scheme and by the time the race started the weater was brilliant. finished 13th Blackhill Bounders 1:14:17 1:16:12 1:14:30 1:16:12 76.30

gosbag Not a good idea running with a cold and a dead-leg (fell off bike...stupid place to put a tree trunk), but strangely enough, really enjoyed it...even though someone found where I'd stashed my shirt when the sun shone on us ...I hope it stinks! Feedback I've had is that the presentations were,well...rubbish. The reasons given were that it was New Marske Harriers AC 1:27:47 1:33:19 1:35:00 1:38:24 64.90

Heelandcoo Heard this is a flat route so maybe a PB? Yes - a PB. Felt quite comfortable most of the way round. Last 3-4 miles started to feel a bit tired but still had plenty of energy to speed it up a little. Know I could go even faster but will need to find a suitable half marathon after Edinburgh to test this. Claremont Road Runners 1:31:30 1:36:24 1:45:00 1:37:58 65.81

DuaneDibbley what a fantastic day - I was really chuffed with my sub 2hr time for my very first half marathon...even more pleased as I'd had a stomach bug for the whole week leading up to the run and hadn't eaten well without yacking until the 2 days prior to the race.

It was a really well organised event, my family and friends came along and loved the day too. From a runners point of view, and without any other race to compare it to, I thought it was a really nice run - especially after coming through Marske and down by the coast.

Will be doing this race next year for sure!

have mapped the race too - gmaps http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2751808
