jolguk I'm really chuffed. That's a big improvement on my recent 5k times. I felt good before the start and I think resting the two days before really helped. The heat didn't bother me, and I think forgetting my watch actually helped. Great stuff.

AllyB **** it. I didn't get under 20 mins but still got a pb. Got stuck in a bit of a bottleneck at the start so my quick first 1k strategy went out the window. Legs were also feeling a bit sluggish from the 10 mile race at the weekend....ok thats enough excuses, 20 mins next time for sure!

Swimming Is Easier Sooo pleased to get under 26mins!! Went out as hard as I could to 3k and then just held on. Managed a bit of a sprint finish. Wasn't too far off 5min kms for the first 3 k, held back a little on no 4 and then just tried to get home. Really excited though and shows the training's working - knocked over 2 mins off from 2 weeks ago when I did 28.08.
