WillBill Legs still feeling heavy after Saturday's race, not sure racing this evening is sensible... Wow! That was good!! Lovely evening and for the first time after getting back from Alaska, actually felt like racing. Started off running slightly within myself but got into my stride once off the road and across the fields. Pulled away a bit on the short, steep climb to White Nancy. It was a cracking run along the top of Kerridge Hill, apart from all the bliddy kissing gates and stiles. Pulled back three more places on the traverse of the hill's eastern slope and held on during the climb back towards the start. Was pushed towards the end but held on to finish 6th ... and 5th Vet. Clearly a race for old men. Fife AC 34:22 34:22 40:00 34:22 65.43
