Yano Balloch, Loch Lomond. I remember a bit more about this race. There is a big hill through the park in Balloch pretty early in the race which was tough. After Balloch the scenery is a bit grim. I remember realising after 6-7k that I might get a good time and so pushing on as much as I could. Absolutely sprinted down the last 0.5k to get under 45mins for the first time. A fast runner I used to work with told me afterwards that this was a tougher, slower course than Dumbarton and so I must be getting fitter to get a faster time here. I felt proud :) Unaffiliated 39:32 44:39 44:39 59.13
