Alun Aiming for sub 1:30 but my best is still 1:35:59 so I'll aim to better that one 1st

What a run, felt really uncomfortable for the first couple of miles but settled down and kept focussed on the goal. Latched onto a Tunbridge Wells Harrier, who was aiming for sub 1:28, for the last 6 miles and crossed the line in 1:28:24 a new and massive PB by 7 minutes 44!!!

Was getting quite warm and the water and sponge stations were most welcome.

3 weeks and counting to London, hopefully the sub 3:15 is still on. Medway & Maidstone AC 1:21:12 1:28:15 1:35:00 1:28:15 69.97

John161 Position 1329th out of 1920.

Started the day off with a stinker of a cold so stuck my head over a bowl of hot water with Karvol in (twice) to clear my nostrils. Still sound a bot husky with a sore throat.

I decided to go through with the run but just take it easy and finish when I finish...the only reason to pull out would be if I suffered with an injury. I knew full well my health wasn't 100% and that would affect my times.

I found it alot harder than usual and could quite easily of given up numerous times during the run but I took plenty of positives with me to help me through those tough times.

Old shoes worn instead of new. Nearly 9 hrs later and feeling a lot of aches but not too many pains in the legs and knees. All in all, a good acheivement and feeling satisfied.

Time to go and get better and plenty of rest now!!! Paddock Wood AC 1:32:05 2:04:10 1:45:00 2:04:10 46.95
