Flatlander very over-crowded race, couldn't race until half-way and even then there were 2 pinch-points and had to slow-jog several metres. Cambridge & Coleridge AC 38:00 42:53 42:53 70.47
GD Shame about the weather - seemed a nice course. Quite happy with the time, though - was far too achy to contemplate PB or close. My excuse (this time) being that I took part in a football match on Saturday for the 1st time in about 15 years! Would have gone sub-45 quite comfortably, but for the park section around 7K - too narrow & slippery to contemplate overtaking. And bumped into Agent Orange in a Fetch-Shirt halfway round too! FERC 39:47 42:20 45:00 45:04 58.67
Swanny As predicted, way off a PB. But really pleased just to get this under my belt injury free. This has made me really optimistic about my chances of getting back into running again. Saw a few Fetch shirts today through the downpour.

teddy-o Good race, TERRIBLE weather! Pouring rain the whole time, but a great crowd and good spirits all round. Really enjoyable but shame not to beat 40 mins. Headington RoadRunners, Totley AC 40:13 40:58 40:00 40:58 64.44

MarkC I wasn't planning to chase the PB this time, just to enjoy it as a nice speed/tempo session between two half marathons. Then a few cheeky beers afterwards. So, I'm pretty happy with the time given the streaming cold I cunningly acquired on Thursday, and the weather. At least the pouring rain disguised my running nose!
Nice race this. Thanks to all the marshalls - it was better to be running than marshalling/watching today! Unaffiliated 41:22 43:32 46:00 45:36 58.66
Sir Moses Hill Wet and mucky. Pushed myself hard once and pleased to improve on my (rather unfit and overweight) 52 mins of last year. Enjoyed doing a race at 'home' - meant getting up at a civilised hour. Unaffiliated 41:37 41:37 42:30 62.12

Agent Orange After a couple of days' uncertainty the chip times have been published. Delighted with time, though it's funny how you can do a stonking PB and still feel things didn't go great. Very congested start and slow first km then I pushed on, probably a bit too hard. Missed a couple of markers and found myself at 5km in 23.08 (too fast). Temporarily caught up with GD who was in a Fetch shirt but then he disappeared into the distance. Hung on in the second half and crossed the line in 46.38. Oh, and it was wet!! FurryH First competitive 10K and it poured all the way round. Ran too fast over the first 2k then settle down and use others to pace. Sprinted the last 1k to get just under the hour! Watford Joggers 48:08 59:24 1:05:22 59:24 44.44

johnevison My first ever distance race last year. Just putting it up to record my PB so I can smash it later this year in the London 10k!

Updated to reflect that fact that I ran 55 minutes, not 55 HOURS. Not quite that slow Unaffiliated 53:35 55:30 1:00:00 55:30 47.57
