Cerrertonia Nice course in places, although the first and last few miles were a bit dull. Having us go round the Iffley road track and Roger Bannister to start the race was a really great touch. Support on the streets was a bit patchy, but the 6 bands along the course were great. Cool temperatures with no rain or wind and flat course led to good times for a lot of people. Organisation was a bit shambolic. Late start due to major traffic problems getting people to the site, broken down bus didn't help. Took us ~2hrs to get back to the centre of Oxford after the race. The least accurate mile markers I've ever seen - how hard can it be to put a mile marker within say half a mile of the correct spot? Unaffiliated 1:43:47 1:44:31 1:49:59 1:47:08 57.64

Hebby The traffic getting to the parking area was terrible, partially because the marshals in the car park were totally useless and not doing anything at all. One if the buses to the start broke down. We got to the start after 9.30, the original start time, to be told the race start was put back until 10. Not much of a queue to drop baggage or toilets ( because most people were at the start or still on a bus!), wandered to the start well ahead of 10 to find everyone had already gone. Race starter was rude. Spent a lot of the run overtaking people so it was congested. Mile markers totally random, drinks stations not where they said. On the plus side I love the course and it's a fast one, so might do it again. Goody bag could do with a banana or something edible to eat Unaffiliated 1:46:44 2:04:43 2:04:43 51.92

tashinka A decent race - would do it again - but I hope that next time they sort out their mile markers! I spent the entire race wondering if I was on pace or not because I appeared to run some miles in more than 12 minutes and others in about 6! Not great. Fair bit of congestion in the section along the tow path but overall there was plenty to recommend - some pretty bits, very well organised overall, enthusiastic supporters. Trogre Great course, but terrible organisation. After terrible baggage problems in 2012, I said I would never do this race again. This year, the marshals at the car park just stood around and did nothing, causing severe traffic jams, and queues of up to a hour to get in to the course car park. This caused the race start to be delayed to Unaffiliated 1:56:44 2:11:56 2:11:56 44.19
