Lexo Wow what a route. possibly one of the most scenic and also toughest HMs Ive done. Described as '' almost completly flat '' on the website but actually undulated up and down for about 12 of the 13 miles....Its the first time i think ive had to actually put my hands on my knees in a road race to force them up a hill. the small but deadly hills at mile 9-10 were just plain evil. and apparantly it was easier this year than last (Yikes) Was worth all the pain though as was a lovely route along the west coast. and nice and friendly. Hopefully stand me in good stead for the Amesterdam half in 2 weeks which doesnt have a hill in site!! . recomended race this though for next year Musselburgh & District Athletic Club 1:26:10 1:30:20 1:31:14 65.54
