EdJ Warm up and hopefully confidence booster for VLM. Not sure about those 'undulations' though...

Pretty happy with the time, particularly considering the strong headwind on the second lap. Quite tired now though! Biggleswade AC, Eastern Veterans AC 2:18:12 2:21:47 2:20:00 2:21:47 65.86

northern_runner A fairly hard, undulating course. After suffering badly following the Edale Skyline last week, this had the potential to be a disaster, but in the end it was a PB race - just!

GrahH Great race with near perfect weather - apart from the wind building up a bit on the second lap. Knocked 10min plus off last years time so absolutley delighted. Totally exhausted by the end.. but I guess thats 'cos I averaged a little over 8 min miles when I was planning to do 8:20 - 8:30! Happy! Harpenden Arrows 2:42:05 2:42:05 2:49:59 2:42:05 64.73

Schnecke Final long run and warm up for Brighton Marathon. Not chip-timed, so have gone with stopwatch time. A very well organised race, on a pleasant country route. A lot of ups and downs, but nothing really horrendous. Felt OK all the way round, and even managed to pick up the pace slightly in the last 5 miles. It did feel a bit odd having to make myself slow down in a race, but I didn't want to get caught up and go off too quickly to find nothing left in the tank at the end. As it is, I finished strongly and could have carried on if necessary (damn glad I didn't have to, though ;-) ) North Herts Road Runners 3:06:46 3:16:15 3:16:15 58.82
