Ands Official time. Always find the first 10k of the season tricky. However, did a 12miler on Friday, and at about 3-4miles had nothing left in the tank. Patonian Never done this under 51 mins. This year I have kept training through the winter since Great North and fit as ever I have been. Best 10k is 48.16 (Glasgow 2 yrs ago) and with the running I ahve been doing then sub 49 is a real possibility if not sub 48. will be trying my heart out for this one to start my racing year off. Something to prove in this race this year. been doing field training and strong 2 x 5 miles last weekend and will do the same this weekend then rest apart from 2 x 3.2 milers to keep supple next week.
