Puffing Bertie What a beautiful race :-)

I kinda fell off my anticipated time by the 3 mile mark so i just ran it and enjoyed much nicer than feeling f**ked at the end.

Had some good company too.......Tappers and Croc who had to wait about 30mins after they finished for me......thanks guys :-) Unaffiliated 1:30:57 1:37:46 1:46:00 48.49
sly1 First 10mile - will be the furthest i've ever run!
I am so excited about my time! I thought 1h40 was the absolute best i could do! Unaffiliated 1:32:00 1:32:00 1:50:00 1:32:00 53.70
Tappers lovely course so I'm told. of course I didn't enjoy any of it. Except the finish, managed to do a great sprint. Found a RW forum chap called Clive who was exactly matched me and we helped each other along (unitl I left him at 9!).

Very grateful it wasn't too hot, when the sun came out I slowed.

Thanks to Puffing Bertie for driving Walton AC 1:13:10 1:13:10 1:17:00 1:13:10 61.28
The Croc Really perfect conditions for racing, flatish route, coolish weather and unconjested start. Scenery wasn't bad either.
Started quicker than I expected and stayed on 7 min miles all the way to 7 miles where I sarted to feel the slight incline and the effect of the improving weather. 8th in 7.30 and 70min finishing time had slipped away. Still, said I'd be happy with anything under 75mins so certainly not unhappy.
Thanks to PB for driving Tappers and I, enjoyed the streching too! Unaffiliated 1:10:41 1:10:41 1:10:41 64.21
wozzlehunter from a wet start to the day , it turned out rather nice, though humidy was high and that made for a tough run.
really enjoyed my day, plenty of friendly marshalls, and well organized, standfast the water problem.
