K8 Wasnt actually going to do this, was just going to support and then run home, cos of my dodgy leg. Glad i did do it, because I finally got a 10km time I am pleased with for the year. Still 4 mins off my PB but getting closer.... so hadnt fuelled properly, and have run the last three days prior to this race, so no taper. Shin did its usual trick and then settled down after 4-5km. Really felt it from the 7km mark, and had nothing left, felt really hungry! Must eat more before a race! Hopefully be able to do more of this series, as I really enjoyed and am glad I got the last banana! Ealing Eagles Running Club 52:05 56:45 56:45 53.58
Mal My slowest ever 10k time by over 2 mins, but was taking it easy as as part of recovery from knee problem and bad case of man flu. Knee seemed fine, so I'm pleased. Barnes Runners, Horsham Joggers 39:41 41:51 50:00 47:15 56.54
