Cat the Dog Lover Wow. We'd joked over some drink one night about working towards a sub 50 min time in this. And then promptly did no specific training for it whatsoever. Ran this by myself as I lost everyone before the start line (lost my mojo - no Jayne or Jude!) Never really thought I would get anywhere near the target. Really pleased as thats about 4 mins faster than my pb. (I'm listed as doing one faster than my pb but I think it is a mistake - I would have remembered doing a pb). Roll on next year, and well done to Jayne who made the target!!! Wow! Billingham Marsh House Harriers & AC 50:35 50:35 54:40 50:35 60.09

Rigel Poor performance possibly due to the heat - warm, muggy conditions. Another disappointing time - need to do more training! Redcar RC 48:04 55:12 55:30 56:45 52.47

RununMan Great pb course and very well organised event. Ended up running very well too, stuck to pace and kept it steady all the way. Very pleased to have got my pb and under 36mins at last ;¬) Birtley AC 35:26 35:44 35:44 78.50

Watcho Great atmosphere on the whole a brilliant run, I ran the first 1.5km with Steve Cram (how good was that!), he went away at the Bluebell. I however had a different experience between 6-7km I got hit by an EGG (raw), as the local kids were using the runners as some kind of target practice. I wasn't the only one my guess is the local netto did a roaring trade last night.Ii think running with the afore mentioned athlete scuppered my chances of a better time, I paid dearly in the last two k's for my early pace.
