Lisrun I did this two years ago and it is a fast course, so I am looking forward to doing it again. *Update* Think I have pulled a calf muscle. Felt it a bit after 4K so slowed down then it got very painful at 9.5K and I had to walk in. nochickenstrip PRE: Well if this is flatter than Ray Harrison 10K then I'm hopefull of a PB but there won't be a lot in it time-wise, might be lucky and get a 36:XX??!! POST: And I was lucky I got my 36 all be it by 1 sec, came 34th out of 1955. Very well organised race, good turnout, very windy today, would have been able to knock another 30 secs off easily if it wasn't windy! philbo I will be running this not racing it* DONT BET* ( UPDATE) Stuck to the race plan for the 1st two miles, which was just to use the race as a training run , then er got got carried away with the race , found a nice pace and stuck with it most of the way , think i could of had a PB had i ran the 1st two miles .
