Malvern Midsummer Marathon

Listed by Jogging Jon
Entrants (6) Club PB SB Pred Time WAVA
Velociraptor Did this in 2003, in big brown boots and with a friend who had a troublesome knee injury. Took eleven hours to finish. Will be disappointed if I can't halve that time this year. UPDATE
Am not disappointed, really. I'd forgotten how hard this is, especially the last eight miles, which took me two hours and 25 minutes, and that's without any serious navigational blips or dawdling at checkpoints! Had a great day out, though. Awesome race, lovely scenery, interesting variety of underfoot conditions, and a great deal of undulation. And the LDWA did themselves proud with the cakes, though I must deplore the provision of quiche and coleslaw at the finish. Cumberland AC 5:00:00 6:13:42 37.86
