moose71 Bright ideal autumn day but muddy course. Felt tough because Lou was pushing me on. First 2 miles were horrendous with mile splits around 9.45 and 10.00 and it felt as if we were on an uphill incline. Nearly walked but fought on settled into the pace by about mile 3. Felt enjoyable then. The pond was horrendous in an enjoyable kind of way. Much harder than I'd thought. Very hard to get through and out and up the mudslide back onto the field. Heavy kit made the last few hundred yards a real slog. Felt nauseous at the end. But enjoyed it overall! Unaffiliated 59:18 59:18 1:00:00 59:18 41.38
Nom Fell very heavily at about 4 miles. Could hardly walk with a strained ankle- but managed to start agian. Won age category by 6 secs. Telford Harriers 45:22 45:22 55:38 56.55

Skittering Monstrosity Beautiful race, lovely day for it, enjoyed the company and autumn colours. Came 231st out of 276. Enjoyed the water feature, but nearly got stuck there! North Staffs Road Runners 44:41 49:38 53:10 48.55
