RunningBob 5th 2nd V40 Very hilly course but my favourite half. Nice roads, great views, friendly. Felt harder this year. Ran most of the way racing for 3rd. Started to close on 2nd but the wheels came off in the last mile and dropped to 5th. 1.5 mins slower than last year when I ran totally alone. clairster Think I just snuck in under 1.50 (subject to official results!!). Fab race, really friendly marshalls and great organisation. Great views across the cheshire plains and got up a good bit of speed down the hills. Really enjoyed it and didnt find the final drag up the last hill too bad. legs just about made it to the end, although they were feeling distinctly jelly like in the last mile.
