bushbaby Lovely race. Had a strong 9 miles and then faded a bit at the end. Would definitely do it again. Pudsey Pacers RC 1:34:55 1:38:42 1:45:00 1:38:42 62.05

Trehis Damn just 21 seconds out, must do better. The second flatest half I have ever run, one near Brugge in Belguim is flatter but only by the fact of ramps lasting no more than 10 meters on and of the sea front at Mablethorp.
I ran a good comfortable race up to 7 miles when a group of four runners caught me up, so I speeded up to stay with them which I did until just before 11 miles then I let the pace slip by possibly just over half a minute a mile. Still felt good running that sea front for nearly 2miles finish was less than half a mile from coming of the sea front. Unaffiliated 1:26:38 1:30:09 1:37:00 1:37:21 63.96
Zeb DO NOT BET. I'm doing this with my running partner, and just aiming to get round. Whilst I'd love to beat last years HM time I'm not counting on it.

I told you not to bet! Actually really pleased with this. Struggled with the mile into the wind between 7 and 8 miles, and hips started playing up along sea front, but managed this without too many problems.

Splits:

9.25 - easy mile though streets
9.50 - ditto
10.01 - yep
10.32 - walked through water station, very hot
10.48 - took gel during this mile, so walked
10.11 - easy run (tail wind)
10.19 - tailwind, but little walk after water station
10.04 - going well
11.48 - head wind - hard work, so walked for quarter of a mile
11.18 - getting back into it
10.38 - along busy road
11.13 - sea front - hips hurting
9.46 - couldn't quite see the finish, but knew it was there

Few minor niggles with organisation, but will log those on RW. Lincoln & District Runners 1:46:02 2:16:47 2:10:00 2:16:47 47.25
