chrisallen Very scenic, but the trail element slowed down the pace and make a PB unlikely on this course. Also blustery and wet conditions but I actually quite enjoyed that, especially compared to the searing heat of the Totton 10k a few weeks before! Unaffiliated 36:48 40:01 42:03 63.15

MacDaz Well chuffed with a new PB and an ambition realised (a 10k time starting with 45) in probably the worst condtions I've raced in. I'm now convinced I can manage a sub 45 in Poole in a couple of weeks providing it is not has hot as last year....but for now 2 weeks warm weather training in Greece! (Sorry I've added this as the other was set up as a 6.2 mile race. So it wasn't replacing my PB times for 10k) PS Hi to the person who shouted 'come on Fetchie' in the last few 100M I couldn't shout back as I was attempting to sprint having just realised a PB may still be possible, so I was trying not to throw up! Scarey Felt really good, 6 - 7km was hard due to strong side wind from Solent but had built up a good bank early on so was ok....getting back there now!! Unaffiliated 57:58 57:58 1:00:00 58:42 50.81
