Applecross Lol at the stupidly overoptimistic prediction (based on similar distance covered in Hellrunner - completely different kettle of parsnips) - I did mean to change it to 2:30, honest. Enjoyable in a 'thank feck that's finished' kind of way. Great weather, if ropey conditions underfoot, but I really struggled with the first climb (and second...and third...) and didn't really settle till East Lomond. Have a whole new category of running injury from the final descent of West Lomond! Unaffiliated 2:25:25 2:25:25 2:00:00 2:25:25 37.42
Llamadance oh sweet jesus. Struggled all the way through really. I knew I was in trouble at the bottom of West Lomond for the first time, calves had died on the way up and thighs disintegrated on the way down (not injured, just jelly). From there it was an exercise in getting round. Saying all that, I enjoyed it (or enjoyed finishing more like). Unaffiliated 2:39:46 2:39:46 2:15:00 2:39:46 30.72
Paul H Only 45 Secs slower than lasy year. The course was wet underfoot but the weather was perfect. Carnegie Harriers 2:14:08 2:14:08 2:15:00 2:14:08 36.43
Steiny Carnegie Harriers 2:28:36 2:28:36 2:28:36 32.89
