Fawkes Great course and weather, pity I had a rubbish day running couldn't get near usual race pace well off pb, plus being sent the wrong way at the start was a bit demoralizing Mossley Hill AC 1:16:10 1:16:25 1:21:37 71.03

Peter Mc Managed a quicker time than I had predicted, very pleased with the result as it's a PB!, actually its the first time I've raced. I started off at a god pace but started to slow at about 7 miles but still kept it at a steady pace. The crowd were fantastic with many of them applauding me which helped to lift my moral and most importantly my pace. Official chip time is 1:35:42, I came 457 in my gender position and 40th in my category position. How brilliant is that for a first timer? Unaffiliated 1:35:42 1:35:42 1:40:00 1:35:42 66.73

Cheeseman75 Awesome race, even though I was cutting it fine to arrive in time for the race to start. Had not even had chance to get to the loos. Never mind. Brilliant course and great atmosphere. Was really lucky with such great weather. New PB from today, so will be adding this to my calender for next year. Unaffiliated 1:37:28 1:37:28 1:40:29 1:37:28 59.55

TheJackal Changed Prediction to 2hrs due to Calf injury last Saturday that has now cleared up.
The weather was great and my calf was ok and very happy with my time. Kept at a steady pace as i did not want to blow out at the 8 - 10 mile point.

Domestic Goddess Fabulous race. Perfect weather cool, but sunny and no wind. Lovely running through Liverpool centre and parks, then all along the Mersey promenade. Never expected to get sub 2 with the small amount of training I've done, but only felt hard in the last 3 miles. Unaffiliated 1:58:41 1:58:41 2:10:00 1:58:41 55.04

McNewbie Apologies to all those who bet on me!! Easiest route of the 3 Halfs I've done, nicest weather too probably, but aches/pains in ankles/calves kept me much slower than usual, and it feels like a huge achievement to have finished despite the pain! Some issues with race organisation but a lovely day out, great way to see an amazing city, and excellent opportunity to meet more Fetchies :) Unaffiliated 2:14:21 2:14:21 2:14:00 2:22:47 45.16

Spally Race was harder than I thought. The only minor things I would say was that the water station at mile 3 ran out of water and by the time I finished there were no T-shirts left, luckily the info van had a couple of spare. Unaffiliated 2:40:33 2:40:33 2:45:00 2:40:33 40.55
