Perfect Organism The Lewes 10k Easter Monday Run. This was a good laugh. It was always going to be a bit of a bimble, coming on the back of Easter Sunday and the wine and food that involves. I hadn't run this race before, but it was good fun. Starting off on the running track, we swiftly ran down some country lanes filled with puddles, then onto a grass path covered in slippery mud, followed by a run through some fields sodden with water. I started off trying to avoid the puddles, but after about a mile I realised it was pointless and threw myself into them with abandon. Ultimately, I clocked my second worst 10k time ever, but it helped shake the cobwebs off, allowed to see some people from the club, and was good fun. Unaffiliated 41:44 44:40 50:08 53.36
